Welcome to Christmas Bliss!

I love Christmas!  And because I do, each year I try hard to make it memorable for myself, my family and my friends.  There’s so much I want to do… cooking, entertaining, decorating, making and purchasing unique gifts, and also enjoying those special moments in front of a fire or lit tree, just trying to soak in the spirit of the season.  With all this, by December 25th, I was often a Christmas Mess, just waiting for it all to be over so I could finally relax.

This past season I realized (again) how much I love all these holiday rituals, and what a shame it is to cram it all into one month of the year.  I don’t get to enjoy them as much as I’d like, and I never can do all I want to do. Wouldn’t it be nice to spread the Christmas spirit all throughout the year?  Not in an insane “have-to-have-everything-bought-and-wrapped-by-September” kind of way, but in a way that really allowed me to savor each step in the process and enjoy the true meaning of Christmas all year long.

I developed this site as a way to collect and share ideas for planning, gift-giving, decorating, and everything Christmas!  Enjoy!
